This covers the most important foundation of religious, social, and personal ethics of the Israelites. There is extensive rabbinic commentary on these chapters. We will look at some of the most available rabbinic scholars’ comments. Here are some resources.

I suggest that you download the free app Sefaria. When you pull up these passages, Sefaria offers rabbinic commentary (some in English), which can help you familiarize yourself with some of the material we will discuss.
