This covers the most important foundation of the Israelites’ religious, social, and personal ethics. There is extensive rabbinic commentary on these chapters. We will look at some of the most available rabbinic scholars’ comments. I will provide the resources.

15 planned sessions:

I suggest that you download the free app Sefaria. When you pull up these passages, Sefaria offers rabbinic commentary (some in English), which can help you familiarize yourself with some of the material we will discuss.
