A close look at Leviticus 19 to 24 (with rabbinic commentary)

This covers the most important foundation of the Israelites’ religious, social, and personal ethics. There is extensive rabbinic commentary on these chapters. We will look at some of the most available rabbinic scholars’ comments. I will provide the resources.

10 planned sessions:

Once a week on Sunday at the usual 8AM Eastern time

FROM September 8 to November 17 unless we finish before that date

There will be no session on October 6

I suggest that you download the free app Sefaria. When you pull up these passages, Sefaria offers rabbinic commentary (some in English), which can help you familiarize yourself with some of the material we will discuss.
